A clearer website for more people.
We want the Gekode website to be readable, understandable and practical to use. Here is the approach taken in this build and how to tell us about a barrier.
Readable content and consistent navigation.
The design uses clear headings, readable body text and a consistent route to the main services and contact page. Important information is written in plain language, with links labelled for their destination. Layouts adapt to smaller screens and content is intended to remain usable when text is enlarged.
Keyboard use and motion.
Navigation links, enquiry fields and interactive controls should be reachable with a keyboard. A skip link provides a route to the main content and visible focus styling helps indicate the current control. The decorative moving service strip respects reduced-motion preferences. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative artwork is kept separate from the page’s written information.
Tell us if something gets in the way.
If a page, form or interaction is difficult to use, contact Gekode and describe what you were trying to do. The page address, browser, device and any assistive technology can help us investigate. Please avoid sending sensitive information in the message. This statement describes the design approach and does not claim a formal accessibility certification or a completed specialist audit.
